A total of 269 reserve officers have been promoted, Police Commissioner Ellison Greenslade has announced.
The promotions came after consultation with the Police Promotion Board.
Eighty-one corporals were promoted to the rank of sergeant and 188 constables were promoted to the rank of corporal.
Additionally, on the advice of the Police Service Commission, Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes announced that 98 reserve senior officers were promoted.
Twenty assistant superintendents were promoted to the rank of superintendent, 26 inspectors were promoted to assistant superintendent posts and 52 sergeants were elevated to inspectors.
The promotions can into effect on July 1.
