Another multi-million dollar marijuana field was discovered in Grand Bahama last week, according to police.
Intelligence led Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) Officers along with their U.S. counterparts to a two and half mile undeveloped area in east Grand Bahama where they found a number of marijuana plants ranging between one foot to five feet tall, police said.
Police said the plots had approximately 75 thousand plants with a street value of $7.5 million.
Officers also found three black garbage bags containing freshly processed marijuana along with three make shift tents.
No arrests were made in the matter.
It was just last month that police found more than 160,000 marijuana plants growing in the pine forest in east Grand Bahama.
Police pegged the estimated street value at nearly $17 million.
Inspector Terecita Pinder reported at that time that the fields were scattered over a two-mile radius of undeveloped land.
She said a total of 167,000 plants, with an estimated street value of $16.8 million, were found.
Police had also recovered two high-powered weapons, including an AK47 and a Mack 11.
Both weapons contained ammunition.
