A major drug bust occurred in North Andros yesterday and according to police the drugs have an estimated street value of $1 million.

According to preliminary reports, police said this incident occurred around 3 a.m on Monday.

A joint operation team acting on intelligence conducted a search and discovered large amounts of marijuana in a vehicle in Mastic Point.

Two men ages 51 and 45 were taken into custody immediately.

Meanwhile, police are in search for several other individuals who are possible suspects involved in this criminal act.

Investigations are ongoing and police will provide further information concerning this recent drug bust.
