Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting and stabbing incident that has left three males with injuries.
Reports are that shortly after 12 a.m., Emancipation Monday, police responded to a report of a shooting incident at a resort on Silver Point Drive.
On arrival, officers met an American male with gunshot wounds to the hand, who reported that he was involved in a physical altercation with a group of males.
The American male was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital for medical attention.
A short time later, two Bahamian males presented themselves at the Rand Memorial Hospital suffering from stab wounds about the body.
Police said both men are under doctor’s care and are listed in serious but stable condition.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
Police in New Providence are also investigating a stabbing incident which left an adult male detained in hospital.
According to reports, shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, a man was at East Street South, when he got into an altercation with another man, who stabbed him about the body.
The injured man was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
