Police have arrested a third person in connection with the death of 42-year-old Javon Glinton.
Officers from the Central Detective Unit (CDU) arrested the 28-year-old man of Cordeaux Avenue around 5:14 Sunday morning.
According to reports, around 9:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Glinton – a resident of Cordeaux Avenue was standing in front of a home on Cordeaux Avenue when he was approached by the occupants of a silver vehicle.
It is reported that a man exited the vehicle and fired gunshots which resulted in Glinton being shot to the upper body.
The Bahama Journal understands Glinton was shot to the head.
Neighbours also told the Journal that Glinton was also known as “American” or “Heads.”
He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
Police are also questioning a 24-year-old Bahamian man and a 32-year-old Jamaican woman in connection with this incident.
