Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Saturday.
According to reports, shortly after 10 p.m., police received a report of a shooting incident at a home located at Graham Drive and Doyle Street in Yellow Elder Gardens. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a male with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminary reports indicated that the victim was sitting in the front section of a friend’s home, when a man armed with a handgun entered and shot him multiple times before fleeing on foot.
Investigations into that matter are ongoing.

Firearm and Ammunition Seizure
Police are reporting the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition off Kemp Road on Saturday.
According to reports, around 10 a.m., Mobile Division officers acting on intelligence went to Kingston Street, off Kemp Road, where they saw a man who arose their suspicion.
The man on seeing the officers dropped a handgun and fled on foot. The officers gave chase and caught the suspect after a short foot chase.
The officers retrieved the handgun and found it to be a Glock 26 Pistol with a magazine containing four rounds of ammunition.
The suspect was subsequently taken into custody and is expected to appear in court early this week to be formally charged.
Early Morning Armed Robbery
According to reports, around 1 a.m. on Saturday a man had just pulled up in front of his home located at Kiki Street, off Farrington Road, when two men armed with a handgun gun butt him in his head and robbed him of his blue/grey 2010 Toyota Tundra jeep before speeding off.
No suspects have been arrested so far.
Investigations into this matter are continuing.
