Police in Grand Bahama are searching for persons responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man dead.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday in the Sunken Treasure Drive area.
Police received information of gunshots being heard and responded where they met the lifeless body of a male in the parking lot of an apartment complex with gunshot wounds to the body.
Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information that can assist the police in locating the suspects to contact them at telephone numbers 350-3107/12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.

Man in Abaco Hospitalized After Stabbing
Police in Abaco are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a 22-year-old man of the Mudd, in hospital.
Reports are that on Sunday shortly after 2 a.m., while in the area of Don McKay Boulevard, police received information that a man was reportedly attacked by a another man known to him, who stabbed him multiple times about the body.
He was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic and seen by doctor who listed his injuries as serious.
The victim will be flown into New Providence for further medical attention.
A 28-year-old male suspect of Murphy Town, Abaco was arrested and is assisting police with their investigation into this matter.
Man Shot Following Argument at Nightclub
According to police, shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, a man was involved in an argument with another man at a nightclub located at Gibbs Corner and East Street, resulting in him being shot by the other man.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Police are seeking the public’s help in solving shooting incident.
Police Search for Suspects in Two Armed Robberies
According to police, the first armed robbery incident occurred after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
A man and a woman was walking on Faith Avenue South, when a male armed with a handgun in a blue Honda vehicle pulled up and a robbed them of a cell phone before speeding off.
In the second incident, shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, a man was standing outside a bar on Joe Farrington Road, when two men in a dark Honda vehicle armed with a handgun robbed him of a cell phone and cash before speeding off.
Man Arrested For Social Media Threats
In response to several social media postings of a man threatening to kill police officers, police have arrested a 25-year-old man for questioning reference to threats of death.
Police initiated an investigation after several recordings of a man threatening to kill police officers were publicly posted on various social media sites.
The investigation led to the arrest of the suspect by officers of the Firearm Tracing and Investigation Unit, shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday.
