Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory”

Of the coming of the Lord. Yes! Yes! And that is just around the corner, and over the hill, so to speak.

A prosperous, healthy and wealthy new 2008 to one and all, but don’t forget the Christ, God almighty and oh yes, the unfortunate. God is a God of goodness and prosper each one of us. Use our silver and gold to get in the bar rooms, night clubs, whore houses, secluded beaches, some even in crematories on sacred tombs – what a waste, a disgrace to almighty God, and man. Oh yes, and the jerking on Bay Street this time of year – it’s a disgrace, too many cow bells clanking, horns blowing – same old thing from year to year. No improvement; its very sad and foolish – don’t call yourself a Christian and start wiggling on Bay Street. God is not pleased with this – He likes to hear keep on the firing line. Show some likeness of Christ in The Bahamas. Bahamian people show that God is here in a very humble and lowly way. One can rush decently, and do it in order. Junkanoo is not Bahamian culture, its ignorance if you act it. Culture is in the ground, what you put into it is what you get out.

This is a New Year that almighty God has allowed us to see, and we should give Him praise, and worship for it all. Most folks today worship Him with lip service, that’s all. By just saying I’m Christian, no meaning to it. Some how God will enter into judgement, He still knows The Bahamas is on the map. How can so called Christian folk take God for granted, play with Him, shout Sunday after Sunday in Church and all along still do their dirty business inside closed doors. Under the sheets, how filthy, wicked and God is a just God and He will punish the wicked. Man Lucifer has you, but he is ready to give you up – for you are too wicked. A little boy once told me that he, saw his auntie Gri------- another woman husband, and wanted to know if that was ok I said to him, never you look on such wickedness again. This was a case of husband and wife swapping each other. I could tell you more but some folk may say I’m coo-koo. A lot of crime rape, comes out of this kind of lustful conglomeration.

Do you want to hear Jesus say enter thou into the joy of the Lord, when He comes back again? You had better get ready, and stay ready – for mine eyes have seen His Glory – its great, its wonderful, its just ok – for great things He has done. He loved us so much, He gave His only son – don’t mock Him, love Him, He gave His life an atonement for sin. He opened the life gate, that we all may go in. What a rejoicing – not so good for them who drink, and keep sweetheart – how awful a life. Lucifer may say to you stay here, take this chlorine and wash out your mouth before you enter my chambers – ho , ho, ho, and a bottle of rum will ring in your ears. Oh my, the price of the bottle -is it worth it? – Think about it, will you.

Like I say, it’s a new fear, turn over a new leaf – live for the one who die for you – and your eyes will see his Glory. Only believe and you will see the Promised Land, when streams of living water flows. There is a beautiful song that says-

Death is an angel sent down from above sent for the buds and the flowers we love surely a soul for in Heaven some day will bloom as a flower in the master’s bouquet.

The master’s boquet has a lot of young buds and one day they will all sit around the Heavenly table – and really see the Glory of God – read John 3:16 and accept him, you won’t regret it.
